Software Technology Park of India one of the key institutions in India for nurturing a Start-Up ecosystem. STPI was established in 1999 under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

STPI along with TVAGA ( Telangana VFX, Animation, Gaming Association) has been actively working to create platforms to incubate and engage startups in the field of Digital Entertainment spanning from VFX, Gaming, Animation, OTT, etc. IndiaJoy- India’s Largest Digital Entertainment Festival is one such event organized in Hyderabad by TVAGA in collaboration with STPI and other prominent Institutions. Hyderabad is uniquely suited for creating such platforms for the availability of Industry Talent and Industry Related Academia.

What is IMAGE Center of Excellence by STPI?

IMAGE Accelerator program, part of IMAGE CoE provides plug and play Co-Working Facilities for Startups and connects them with the startup ecosystem with valuable connections.

IMAGE CoE is an initiative by STPI at Hyderabad to provide resources such as mentoring, technology support, and funding for Gaming, Animation, VFX, Computer Vision, and AI start-ups. IMAGE offers integrated programs, CVLAB and GameLab, for start-ups to scale up through its incubation facility.

Who Can Apply for IMAGE CoE COHORT 2?

Objective of COHORT2-

To nurture and develop an ecosystem for Innovating in Gaming, Animation, VFX, Computer Vision, and AI Industry.

For the Startups to be eligible to participate in COHORT2, they must be registered entities in India. Startups participating should be involved in technologies related to Gaming, VFX, Computer Vision and AI Industry.

The startup should be an original entity and should not have formed by splitting up the existing companies. If the company is not registered then the promoters must register within 3 months after applying for CoE COHORT.
