General Science: India’s Achievements in Science & Technology is the 3rd item in the list of topics in the TSPSC Group 1 Syllabus. It is also one of the important scoring areas for candidates who are only able to prepare for less than 3 months. How to prepare for Science and Technology syllabus for TSPSC?

Based on the above questions we can divide the question categories from Science & Technology as, basics of physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. Don’t let these taxonomies intimidate you, we are talking about class 6 to class 10 basic concepts from these subjects. Quick revision using a bit bank is the most efficient way to cover the basics. Make sure that the bit bank has detailed explanations for each question. NCERT Class 6 to 10 textbooks are easy to read with pictorial representations.

Apart from the basics of the above-mentioned subjects, space, defense, and biotechnology are key areas. What should be my main resources for the science and technology section?

Doing research on achievers from the Telangana region might come in handy, considering this is a state-level exam.

Based on the previous year’s paper analysis, preparing strategically for Science and Technology section will help you get at least 8-10 questions right with minimum effort.
